Captain Nemo:Prince Dakkar Sci-Fi novel (20k leagues under the sea) -Jules Verne
Antihero-roams the sea via legendary submarine the Nautilus
Captain Nemo first appeared in the novel Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea by Jules Verne. He also appears later in the Novel Mysterious Island. These two books that are considered canon for Captain Nemo. All the other stories are based on these novels and new stories are added because this is now Public Domain.
Captain Nemo is one of the best known antiheroes in fiction, he is the mysterious son of an Indian Raja, and a scientific genius who roams the depths of the ocean. He has a deep disdain for oppression, and imperialistic nations. His drive is fueled by vengeance and he will protect those that are oppressed themselves.

“On the surface, they can still exercise their iniquitous laws, fight, devour each other, and indulge in all their earthly horrors. But thirty feet below the (sea’s) surface, their power ceases, their influence fades, and their dominion vanishes. Ah, monsieur, to live in the bottom of the sea! There I recognize no master! There I am free!”

There are so many different variations of him, trying to get a whole picture of him would be impossible. He is mainly described as “Man of courage”, shown fighting  giant monstrous squids in the Caribbean, having discovered the underwater lost city of Atlantis and a genius biologist who has read an entire library of knowledge. His legend has inspired countless Sci-fi books, movies and comics over history. He has even popped up in modern culture as a reinvented rescuer, who saves the day. It is almost as if he is immortal and will continue to roam the bottom of the sea for eternity.
So what do you think? Do you think you could “find” Nemo?
